Abigail featured on Ruth Barnes "The Other Woman"

It's nearly four years since Abigail launched her first album, Night Time Walking, at The Cobalt Café in Dublin's North Great Georges Street. A critical success, Abigail received much praise for her debut. One of her great international supporters at the time was Ruth Barnes who chose the single "Oh Sam" for a playlist on BBC Introducing with Tom Robinson after the launch. Barnes, who presents The Other Woman on Amazing Radio, chose the track saying,

“I love this one [Oh Sam], it gets stuck in my head…..I could listen to it over and over again…”

Last week on her own show The Other Woman Barnes again highlighted Abigail's latest album, playing the single The Gift of You (Pink Ribbons) as the penultimate track on her illustrious playlist, bookending it with "Abigail Smith is from Ireland; she's a big deal over there. "Ruth BarnesYou can listen to the whole show from 15 August over on Amazing Radio. We're chuffed that Abigail's single was featured and really appreciate the support of Ruth Barnes in helping Abigail reach a broader audience. You can follow Barnes on Twitter and never miss the latest from great female artists.
